The course is the same system our mentors run one-on-one. Here is what students and parents say about working through it with us.
“I can’t stress how amazing samad is. He’s truly a great representation of what you guys are aiming for and at this point I have learned EVERYTHING regarding college from him. I went into this whole process completely clueless but he’s great at really going in depth and guiding you through the process. His guidance is truly amazing and I couldn’t appreciate it more. Also thank you for the step by step PowerPoints, I’m a bit shy when it comes to asking questions but find them really helpful.”
“It was really good overall. I had a great time meeting with each of the mentors and hearing their experiences + advice. Keshav helped me get my letters of recommendation and write my resume. In addition, he provided me with insight on Rice and his major. Oscar helped me with my resume and provided me with a format to follow. Samad helped me revise and edit all of my essays for Common App and Texas A&M, plus he sent me different scholarship tools, information on the varying applications, and dedicated a very good amount of time with me. He also gave me tips on how to better write for my future applications.”
“As a parent, your info session was tremendously helpful. Although I also went through the college application process, I did this in the days before the internet. Seeing how kids seem to worry about college so early in their high school career and how we (parents, kids) are inundated with so much information, I was worried that the whole process was more complicated than in my day. It was reassuring to see that the general process is not that much different than when I went through it, and totally doable still. For my kids, they knew nothing about the college application process, so your info session was a wonderful overview of all the different parts involved.”

Clear answers for families
Is this course personalized?
The curriculum gives every family the same complete operating system, while saved artifacts and 14 AI-guided practices adapt the questions and feedback to the student’s actual priorities and work. The coach will not predict admission or write application content for the student.
Is the course only for seniors?
No. Students in grades 9–11 can use the readiness, planning, college-research, and affordability modules early. Seniors can follow the complete application-year sequence.
Does it cover extracurriculars in depth?
Yes. The dedicated nine-lesson studio covers discovery, depth, work and caregiving, leadership and service, research, summer opportunities, athletics and arts, accurate time reporting, and live 150-character application descriptions.
Does it cover the SAT and ACT?
Yes. The current 2026–27 module covers digital SAT and enhanced ACT formats, official diagnostics, test choice, preparation, accommodations, PSAT/National Merit, AP/IB/dual-enrollment exams, college-specific policies, score reporting, superscoring, and stop rules.
Does it cover scholarships?
Yes. Scholarships now have a dedicated module covering search strategy, eligibility triage, local and institutional awards, reusable evidence, essays, recommendations, interviews, pipeline management, scams, taxes, displacement, and renewal conditions.
Does enrollment guarantee admission or scholarship money?
No. No ethical course can guarantee a college decision or funding result. ScholarU improves the process, quality of evidence, decision-making, and execution while keeping outcomes and changing policies honest.
Is the financial-aid material individualized financial advice?
No. The course teaches families how to organize questions, classify aid, compare published terms, and use official processes. It does not recommend a particular loan, investment, tax position, or legal strategy. Verify terms with the college, agency, or lender and consult an appropriate licensed or qualified professional for individual advice.
