2. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By accepting the invoice provided by ScholarU, you hereby agree to the following terms and conditions for the College Counseling & Mentoring Services:
- Services Provision: You acknowledge that ScholarU will provide high-quality college counseling and mentoring services to you, as outlined in the initial mentoring sessions.
- Service Hours: You understand that you will be granted the listed hours of counseling services on the invoice, and these hours are non-transferable, except to immediate family members.
- Payment Obligation: You agree to pay the total fee listed in the invoice provided by ScholarU. Payments are non-refundable and non-cancellable.
- Change of Mentor: In the event that you are dissatisfied with the services rendered, you reserve the right to request a change of mentor. ScholarU agrees to accommodate such requests to the best of their ability and in a timely manner.
- Guarantee for Extended Service Packages: If you are purchasing over 36 hours of service, ScholarU guarantees that you will be awarded an amount equal to or greater than the fees paid under this Agreement in the form of scholarships, financial aid, or grants. This guarantee is subject to the receipt of a completed financial aid form from you, or any relevant accounts related to financial aid, scholarships, and grants. If the requisite amount is not awarded, ScholarU agrees to negotiate a compensation agreement.
3. User Obligations
As a user, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about yourself and to update this information as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Payment Terms
4.1. Fees: Services offered by ScholarU are subject to fees as outlined on our website or provided in a separate agreement. 4.2. Payment: Payment for services must be made in accordance with the payment terms specified by ScholarU. 4.3. No Refunds: All payments made to ScholarU are final and non-refundable, except as may be required by applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property
All content and materials provided by ScholarU, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the intellectual property of ScholarU or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
6. Disclaimers
ScholarU does not guarantee admission to any college or university. Our services are advisory in nature, and final decisions and responsibilities lie with the user.
7. Limitation of Liability
ScholarU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangibles.
8. Termination
ScholarU reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to our services for any user who violates these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ScholarU operates.
10. Amendments
ScholarU reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of our services following any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
