Additionally, Tejas has been recognized as one of the 800 students in the entire state of Texas to receive the highly competitive $20,000 Houston Rodeo Scholarship. Beyond his remarkable academic accomplishments, Tejas finds joy in various activities and interests. He is an avid tennis player, finding solace and pleasure on the court. A highly accomplished and motivated individual currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science with a Minor in Statistics at Rice University. He is currently a Software and Machine Learning Intern at the University of Houston’s HULA Lab, he developed a groundbreaking mental health assistant application using the GPT 3.5 Large Language Model and the CBT framework. Furthermore, Keshav has gained valuable experience as a Business Analyst Intern at JP Morgan Chase and Co. During his internship, he honed his skills in NoSQL database software analysis. Keshav’s dedication to personal and professional growth is further evident through his participation in the prestigious Uber Career Prep Program. Selected among the top 4% of candidates, he receives mentorship from experienced Uber software engineers, strengthens his algorithmic thinking capabilities through mock technical interviews, and enhances his technical skills and soft skills. Samad is a young, driven individual with a long list of accomplishments and extracurriculars that substantiate his knowledge socially, academically, athletically and in various fields of STEM. He is pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University, with a plan to minor in a fine art. He has taken 12 AP classes, 6 Dual Credit, and has scored 4s and 5s on all AP exams he tested in. Throughout high school, he was involved in dozens of extracurriculars, and was the recipient of several academic and athletic awards. Samad was the President of Science Olympiad, Vice President of Muslim Student Association, Senior Class Vice President, Technology Student Association’s Parliamentarian, and a NASA High School Aerospace Scholar. His hard work advanced him to state for each of the aforementioned organizations, and more recently in July, he attended Technology Student Association’s national conference. He is the recipient of dozens of medals for Science Olympiad and TSA, the INKAS Rising Star Scholarship, an AP Scholar with Distinction, and on Texas High School Coaches Association’s Academic 1st Team for his success in varsity football and academically. He has also completed dozens of engineering projects, and is currently working towards completing another. His diverse interests in all fields of STEM motivated his venture into several disciplines, awarding him comprehensive knowledge in the fields of medicine, engineering, and computer science. After undergraduate, he plans to pursue a Master’s Degree in aerospace, biomedical, materials, or mechatronics engineering, using his knowledge learned from internships and undergrad to decide which specialization would be best. Samad is an integral addition to the team at ScholarU, and a mentor with a extensive, widely-applicable knowledge.

Rishindra is an accomplished individual who has made significant strides in the field of computer science. Currently enrolled in the Texas CSB Honors Program, Rishindra’s academic journey is marked by excellence and recognition. Furthermore, his dedication to his studies has been acknowledged through the prestigious $20,000 TVA Dependent Scholarship. During his time at Dulles High School, Rishindra showcased exceptional leadership skills as the Founder and President of the TSA (Technology Student Association) Chapter. Through his efforts, he fostered a community of like-minded individuals, promoting innovation and technological exploration among his peers. Rishindra’s passion for robotics propelled him to achieve remarkable feats, including qualifying for the FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) Robotics World Championship. His participation in this prestigious event underscores his ability to excel in a competitive environment and showcases his expertise in robotics and engineering. As a Full Stack IT Development Intern at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Rishindra gained invaluable professional experience. In addition, Rishindra’s talents in digital video production have earned him recognition as the TSA Digital Video Production State Champion and National Competitor. A student of Rice University, Haaniya holds a degree in Biochemistry, with minors in “Environmental Studies” and “Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.” Her insatiable curiosity led her to the enchanting world of microscopic marsh insects during her tenure at Pennings lab, where she honed her expertise in classifying and identifying these fascinating creatures.

Fueling her love for both nature and science, Haaniya ventured into the vibrant realm of agriculture and food science at the Rice University Holistic Garden. As a summer research intern, she delved into the captivating universe of mini greens and their food science applications. Her innovative approach and keen insights were put to work as she explored the culinary potential of these tiny wonders.

Currently, Haaniya embarks on an adventurous scientific journey, researching mini greens and their alternatives to spinach. By unraveling their chemical properties and responses to the environment, she aims to pave the way for sustainable and healthier food options.

Nikhil, an exceptional scholar with acceptances into esteemed programs like SLU’s BSMD, Rice, and WashU, chose Texas A&M’s innovative E2EnMed program in Biomedical Engineering, supported by the prestigious Brown Scholarship. A National Science Bowl competitor and Varsity UIL Science Team member, Nikhil excelled in computational biology research through the Boston University RISE Practicum.
