Currently pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University, he has an impressive academic track record with 12 AP classes, 6 Dual Credit courses, and top scores in all his AP exams. Besides academics, he held significant positions in various school organizations like the Science Olympiad and Technology Student Association, earning him numerous accolades and scholarships. His achievements in varsity football were recognized by the Texas High School Coaches Association’s Academic 1st Team. Samad has also engaged in several engineering projects and plans to further his education in aerospace, biomedical, materials, or mechatronics engineering post-undergrad.
